The "Best Law Firms" methodology begins with client feedback. Clients were asked to critique key elements of the firm's service, including responsiveness, civility, and more. In addition to clients, other members of the legal community provided information about the firm's level of integrity and expertise.
Last year, Best Lawyers® collected nearly five million evaluations of over 50,000 candidates. 12,315 firms were eligible to inclusion in the "Best Law Firms" listing. Only 6,323 are selected for the Tier 1 ranking.
